Road Conditions for Interstate I-45

Interstate I-45 is one of the major highways in the United States. It provides a direct route from Houston to Dallas. The highway is in generally good condition, with most of the pavement in excellent condition. The majority of the interstate is divided into four lanes with a median barrier, although some portions of the highway are only two lanes.

No matter the season, the weather along I-45 tends to be unpredictable. Strong winds and heavy rains can occur suddenly, and flash flooding is always a risk. It is also important to note that thunderstorms and tornadoes are common in the area.
