Interstate 85 is one of the main interstate highways in the southeastern United States. It runs from Montgomery, Alabama, to Petersburg, Virginia. I-85 is a major thoroughfare for traffic traveling between Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina. In Georgia, a segment of I-85 is also known as the Ray C. Anderson Memorial Highway.
